Shark Experience is a tour operation, but more importantly, its a team that exists purely to offer the opportunity for our clients to interact with the natural world.  We also really love sharks.

• Shark Experience is the only Shark Cage Dive operator certified to offer tours and operate with Great White Sharks in New Zealand.    
• The Foveaux Strait is one of three places in the world where Shark Cage Diving with Great Whites is possible (as of Jan 2025).    
• Great White Shark Tour Sighting Rate 2023 to 2025 average:  94%.
• Shark Cage Diving in New Zealand is seasonal only operating between the 1st December and 30th June each year.
• We are a Māori owned and whanau operated business that believes in kaitiakitanga, of our mighty Mango Ururoa, the love of our Moana,  and is driven to protect our special place on earth.

Don't we know it!     In saying that, a 2.5hour drive from Queenstown, or a 3hr drive from Dunedin, or a 1.5hour drive from Te Anau is so worth it!    We don't offer your usual 'touristy' day out, so being prepared to experience something new is essential for your clients - and a wee bit of luck!
