Shark Experience want YOU to capture that special moment with a shark!
The best view of the sharks is in the cage - and that's where were want you! Shark Experience do not offer professional photography services , unless we have a guest photographer. We do have GoPro and Underwater Cameras available for hire ( it's best to reserve these) and we encourage you to bring own too.
We do record footage of sharks for our Identification Program, and if its of good quality we are always happy to share it.

Let us Dropbox (stored for 12 months), GoogleDrive (stored for 30 days) you the images/videos. NB – As most 4K footage will exceed 2GB, this option is only available to paid Dropbox and Google subscribers. Free accounts will not allow free access.

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARE CHOOSING TO HIRE;
A Rental Agreement to be signed on Check In to Tour.
Terms & Conditions are below, but in plain English; if you loose it, break or leave it in the ocean (where its considered trash!), you will need to replace the camera with the same model and make within 10 days, or pay the fix bond amount.
- Renter acknowledges:
- The rental will begin at 0700hrs on the date of the trip and will end same day at end of that outing, with equipment being returned within 30min of the vessel berthing that same day. There are no late returns are accepted.
- acknowledges receiving the Equipment in good condition and that they will return the Equipment to Owner in good condition.
- If the Equipment is damaged or lost while in Renter's possession, Renter will be responsible for the cost of repair, up to the current value of the Equipment. The current value of cameras on offer ranges between NZD $399 to NZD$599.99.
- and agrees to use the Equipment safely and only in the manner for which it is intended to be used.
- The Renter agrees to the replace or repair amount being charged to their nominated credit card in the event that the camera is broken or lost while in their possession/use, or if the camera is not returned as per the agreement.
